The Business Division supports business and operations services for the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District. Departments providing these services include Finance, Food Services, Facilities Department, Purchasing, Risk Management and Transportation.
OpenGov: Fiscal Transparency Tool
At the December 12th meeting, the HLPUSD Board of Education approved the purchase of OpenGov, a web-based fiscal transparency tool. HLPUSD is the first school district in California to use OpenGov.OpenGov is a web application that promotes fiscal transparency for school districts and state & local governments. The OpenGov system helps turn thousands of rows of previously difficult to access income and expenditure account financial data into easy to use charts and presentations.
