Principal for a Day 2021

Principal for a Day was held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.  Virtual Campus Visitation by were done via Zoom videoconferencing for Guest Business, Industry and Legislative partners.  Due to the pandemic, this year’s awards ceremony was be held virtually at 11:30 a.m. on 3/9/21.

The theme for this year was: “Staying Connected for Student Success” . Each school was given the name of a guest principal assigned to them for the day.

The Principal for a Day event is part of Educational Partnership Week – to expose community members, business partners, and representatives to what public school is really about.

Sponsors of the Principal for a Day included the Regional Chamber of Commerce-San Gabriel Valley Bassett, Hacienda La Puente, and Rowland Unified School Districts. Scholarships of $400 were awarded to to one (1) student at La Puente High School, Los Altos High School, Valley High School, Glen A. Wilson High Schools.
