CHILDREN AT PLAY

If you are considering enrolling your child at the Amar Children's Center you will need to bring the following documents with you:

  • Your child's birth certificate and birth certificates for siblings
  • Your child's immunization records
  • Your picture ID or driver's license
  • Proof of income 
  • Proof of address

A physical and current screening for TB will be required at the time of enrollment.

AMAR CHILDREN'S CENTER

The Amar Children’s Center, funded by the California Department of Education, provides all day, year-round child care services to children between the ages of 2– 5. Families must be income eligible, and must be working or attending school, in order to qualify for services.
A sliding fee scale based on each family's income is applied.

OUTCOMES

Child Development students are assessed twice a year using the Desired Results Development Profile, a research-based observation tool, to determine the developmental level of each student in the areas of personal and social competence, effective learning, physical and motor competence, and health and safety.
