ASSESSMENTS
State Preschool students are assessed twice a year using the Desired Results Developmental Profile, a research based observation tool, to determine the developmental level of each student in the areas of personal and social competence, effective learning, physical and motor competence, and health and safety.

CALIFORNIA STATE PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
The State Pre-school program, funded by the California Department of Education, is a three hour program that services 3 and 4 year old children designed to meet the intellectual, emotional, social and physical needs of the children in a developmentally appropriate environment.
The program is offered at several elementary school sites in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District.

If you are considering enrolling your child in our state preschool program you will need to bring the following documents with you:
- Child's birth certificate
- Child's immunization record
- Picture identification
- Proof of address
- Proof of Income (last 30 days)
- A physical and current TB will be required at the time of enrollment.

PARENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (PAC)
The Parent Advisory Committee meets five times a year. Please Consider attending these meetings to help us continue providing quality programs.
