Hacienda La Puente Unified Recognizes Student Board Representatives for Advocacy, Leadership
Hacienda La Puente Unified School District proudly recognized its student school board representatives for their vital role in championing student interests and providing insight to inform the Board of Education's decision. These dedicated students diligently represented their high schools and ensured the voices of their peers were heard throughout the 2024-25 school year.

Katelyn Gudino, Valley Alternative High School: Gudino recently returned to Workman High School to graduate with her class. She plans to work for a year after graduating, and then enroll in college to become a school counselor.
Hannah Hernandez, Glen A. Wilson High School: Hernandez plans to study business and marketing at Cal Poly Pomona and cosmetology at HLPUSD Adult Education, with the goal of opening her own beauty shop one day.
Naomi Rangel-Franco, Los Altos High School: Rangel-Franco plans to attend the University of California, San Diego to study cognitive and behavioral neuroscience, with the goal of one day working with unhoused individuals.
Amanda Cabrera, William Workman High School: Cabrera is mapping out her post-graduation plans that will ultimately lead to her goal of becoming a Disney Imagineer.
Soledad Caldera, La Puente High School: Caldera is currently deciding between studying public relations at the University of Southern California or communications at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
